Shouts outs and learned lessons
So firstly, I thought I would give a mention to Mr. Charity himself, Michael Rouse-Deane. He's the philanthropic genius who dreamed up and put me in that Charity book last year, and he's now embarking on a year long 'Guest Strip Project', also for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. There will be two strips a week based around a continuing set of characters, and each strip is drawn by a different artist. Mine is appearing next week, I believe, but it kicked off today, so I thought I'd give you all good notice to go on over and show support for this project:

Also, those of you keeping in touch with the UK music scene may well have heard of a band called 'Does It Offend You, Yeah?'. Well about a year or so ago, the band's management contacted me and asked me to come up with a logo for them. I did a couple of ideas, but when they requested more changes, I just didn't have the time to do anymore, and had to let it slide. Boy, do I feel stupid now. Their damn logo stares out at me from every HMV, Fopp and Virgin (sorry 'Zavvi') store in the land right now, making me seethe with self-annoyance.

For the purposes of posterity, here's what I came up with at the time, so I guess you can tell why they didn't make the grade. Ho hum... another lesson is learned. When the next unwieldly titled band gets in touch, i'll pay more attention...
